Once again thanks to Detective Jorge Baluja, we're completely incapable of putting together a cohesive blog post!

Honestly, as hard as we try neither Detective Baluja or ASA Kostrzewski allow us to put together a meaningful blog post.  We had the same problem last week when we tried to go through one of Detective Baluja's deposition transcripts only to be stopped at the first page with just another example of the Detective's incompetence and assistant state attorney Kostrzewski sad attempt at trying to cover it up.  So with that behind us, here we are again today, ready to go through one of Detective Baluja's deposition transcripts in an effort to research how he conducted his investigation of the Bernardo Barrera mortgage fraud case for our blog and once again, we're stopped cold in our tracks!

Now, our loyal blog readers are no strangers to Detective Baluja's stellar performances during his many depositions, surely you all recall his inability to grasp the most basic concepts of real estate or mortgage fraud, but just when you though it couldn't get any worse, Detective Baluja delivers this...
Jorge Baluja Explaining What an Escrow Account Is

Simple question right?  Let's break it down...

Easy enough right?  What's an "escrow deposit"?  The good Detective indicates that he knows what it is, so let's see his response...

WHAT'S THAT?!  WTF IS DOWN PAVEMENT?  HUH?

Ok, maybe he got nervous and said pavement instead of payment.  Good enough, so he knows what an escrow deposit is!  Let's move on...

WHAT?  What the hell does that mean?  The escrow accounts for the title agency?  What kind of cryptic $hit is that?  Does that make sense to ANYONE?  Ok, next!

Ok, now that's a bad sign.  This must have been the moment when the attorney conducting the deposition realized that Detective Baluja was totally lost, one can only imagine the deer in the headlights look that the Detective must have had on his face.

LOOK OUT JORGE, THERE'S A MACK TRUCK HEADED YOUR WAY!

Jorge Baluja Explaining Where the Escrow Monies Come From

BAM!  Did you catch it?  Look closely...

So that's what an escrow account is for huh Detective?

"...to put the monies given by the parties selling the property."

You know, to put the monies given by the parties selling the property, DUH!

That gem is best left alone for we don't have words to accurately describe this level of stupidity.

  2. Sorry, that's straight out of the deposition transcripts, I've scanned and included the excerpts directly from the transcript.

  3. How does the cop explain these mistakes and this blog to his friends and family?

  4. Good question Larry. I was told that when the Miami Beach 411 article came out he actually denied it was him in the article.

  5. What are you not understanding? Escrow is where the seller deposits funds to account for title agency. Simple.

Is there anything in the depositions that explains what is the crime the lawyer is supposed to have committed? Why hasn't that case been dropped yet?
